Cosmos Ecosystem’s Keplr Wallet Integrates with Cross Chain DeFi Hub Umee

We’re excited to announce that Umee has integrated Keplr, the Cosmos ecosystem’s most popular interchain/browser wallet, making it one of Umee’s wallets that will be supported at launch.

Through this integration, users will be able to transact, stake, and participate in the Umee governance via the Keplr web and mobile wallets. Users will be able to make transfers of the Umee tokens, participate in the proof of stake consensus mechanism through delegating and staking, and vote on Umee governance proposals on the Keplr web app and mobile native interface in a non-custodial fashion.

As Umee is built on the Cosmos SDK, IBC integration is native to our blockchain. We will be able to benefit from Keplr’s support of IBC enabled networks and offer users seamless cross chain interactions across 30+ blockchains at the time of launch, all easily realized using the beautiful Keplr interface. That said, as Keplr’s integration couples with the growth in the space, and more IBC enabled blockchains emerge every time we look, Umee’s ability to scale accelerates.
