Hey Umee Community,

We hope this finds you well and that you are thriving in this new year! We have had a great month, and we’re excited to share some highlights with you. This February we listed a bunch of new assets, reached +$6M in protocol Total Liquidity without ANY liquidity mining incentives, and so much more! Here's a recap of everything that’s been happening:

Listed Multiple New Assets:

  • Through the help of our successful Historacle, we were able to list $stATOM, $stOSMO, $IST, and $OSMO as collateral assets.
  • This makes us one of the largest Cosmos lending protocols in the ecosystem!

+$6M in Total Liquidity (TL):

  • We are thrilled to report that our TL has reached +$6M, through organic and sustainable lending and borrowing rates!

Successful V4.1 Upgrade:

  • Bug Fixes
  • Safe leverage operations during partial oracle outages
  • Fixed validator power calculation during oracle ballot counting

Listed on DefiLlama:

Into the Umeeverse:

  • Our team had the pleasure of hosting Greg Osuri and the Akash team; as well as Stride Co-Founder, Riley Edmunds for the official launch of stATOM and stOSMO on Umee! It was fantastic having them, and we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such talented individuals in the cosmos ecosystem!

Launched $4,000 Liquidation Bot Bounty:

  • Liquidation bots are widely used by lending protocols to automatically seek and liquidate undercollateralized loan positions. As a decentralized lending blockchain, Umee counts on liquidation bots to keep our platform healthy.
  • So, we announced a bounty program to incentivize the community to build and run liquidation bots. Learn more about it here: umee.cc/blog/umeeliquidationbot

Media Coverage:

We are looking forward to continuing to bring value to the DeFi community, and we’re grateful for your support. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best regards,

The Umee Team
