Umee’s on Reddit!
Just as the title reads — Umee is now on Reddit! We understand as we grow, we have to go to where the crypto community is. Our vibrant communities across Twitter, Discord, and Telegram have grown exponentially as we set our eyes towards our mainnet launch. That said, in the coming days, we have upcoming testnet incentive programs (along with other announcements)! We believe it would be ideal to ensure that as more people follow Umee, they have a place to have discussions in a longer-form environment. Let’s dive right in!
Intentions
- Everyone is free to share what they have in mind! The Umee subreddit is going to be a community to talk amongst each other without feeling the need to cap a conversation because you’re spamming the chat.
- No question is a dumb question! We all lead busy lives so let’s make it possible for you to catch up on the latest news and be able to speak up if you have any questions so the greater community can help you out.
Purpose
- Umee is u and mee. Reddit allows for conversations amongst community members to be lively, extensive, and well-thought-out. So, as Umee grows, we want the Umee community to rely on one another.
- We want to hear from the community. We want to create a space where you as a community can voice your opinions, concerns, and questions. We will look at these posts closely and make sure our community is heard.
- That said, Umee will only get better as a protocol with your voice and participation. Remember, an active community is a prosperous community!

About Umee
Umee is a decentralized finance (DeFi) hub that was created for cross-chain interactions between networks. As a start, Umee will create an interchain lending and borrowing platform between the Ethereum and Cosmos blockchains.
