Umeevengers Incentivized Testnet Program Phase 1: Introduction
Umee is excited to announce the launch of our incentivized testnet program — Umeevengers!
Umeevengers will be an incentivized testnet with two phases, with Phase 1 set to start on October 11th! Since the release of our betanet, we’ve seen awesome community participation in navigating the network code, setting up nodes/validators, and ultimately having fun exploring the platform. We’d like to give our community some more ways to have fun, and we’re opening up the Umeevengers Phase 1 applications now!
Phase 1 Details
- Validators (aka Umeevengers) will compete amongst each other on Uptime, Never Jailed, Number of Blocks processed, and Contributions to the Umee network in general each week.
- The prize pool will consist of 4 million UMEE tokens, that will be distributed at a later date.
- We’ll post all the details of Phase 1 on Wednesday, September 29th.
- The program will run for 5 weeks, and we’ll have a leaderboard to track Validator scores.
- Phase 1 of the Umeevenger testnet will be limited to 200 Validator spots, so be sure to submit an application!
- We’ll also have a waitlist for Validators to join the testnet at the end of each week in case other Validators drop out or are kicked for misbehavior.

- Selected Validators, as well as the Validator waitlist, will be posted on a public spreadsheet on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021!
